What a Day!

What a day March 27, 2010 turned out to be.  It has always been a special day.  It is Jac's Birthday!!!  As someone obnoxious once said, she's "29 and some spare change".   Hardy har har har.
A new little angel also came to this world today to share Jac's special day.  Kelly finally had her baby, Brecken.  Mom has kind of had a connection from the very beginning with this little guy, so it's only appropriate that they share a birthday!

I've seen pictures, and he really is cute!!!


So today was great.  The whole family was here and we had a fairly typical birthday bash.  It involved Jac and Whit going to a Broadway play---yuck.  Aim made a delicious homemade rum cake---yum.  Unfortunately it was only rum flavoring.  But still delicious nonetheless.  And our first trip to Cowboy Grub without Dad.  I'm glad we got that one under our belt, because I've gotta say "the Grub" as we like to call it is somewhere you just can't go wrong.  All their food is so choice!  Shout out to the Big Monty!  And you've gotta love the circus like atmosphere of the revolving horse merry-go-round.  Even 12 (almost 13) year olds love the horses!
It's always so fun to have the whole family here.  It's especially fun to see what treasures we find after they leave.  Here is just a sampling.  YES, that is what you think it is in the bathtub.  Yes, there is one unwrapped.  And, YES, that is a giant football in my bathroom.  Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of my contacts and prescription pills in the garbage can.  You gotta love those adorable nephews and niece.  They are truly the best nephews and niece in the world.  I wouldn't change a single one of them.  They are my angels.
